1919
Hans Staack founds his "Company for Machine Supplies, Oils and Greases" as a retail shop in Hamburg with the business principle "A perfect service to the customer", which is still valid today
1923-1934
Expansion of the company to include further sales outlets on land, bunker stations in Rendsburg and Götjensort, a distribution centre in Harburg and the first petrol station
1950
Hans Staack dies on 10 April at the age of 58, his wife Maria Magdalena takes over the management of the company together with Bruno Pönitz
1950s and 1960s
Discontinuation of the bunker business, concentration on mineral oil and fuel supply, Hansjörg Quistorff becomes personally liable partner with 60 employees
1970-2000
Takeover of numerous ESSO agencies in northern Germany, development of own petrol station network
since the 1990s
Co-founding of tankpool24, expansion of Staack pool petrol stations into one of the leading companies in fuel supply for commercial customers
2001
Marquard & Bahls takes over Staack Pooltankstellen and further expands the company

New building and relocation to Kattwykstraße 12

Currently the leading supplier and service provider in the fuel supply sector: Over 500 petrol stations throughout Germany and a further 300 in Europe
