With tankpool24 you can refuel easily and safely with the digital driver card.

The changeover is easy for existing tankpool24 customers: all they have to do is register the relevant driver cards for activation. The official driver card remains untouched and is simply removed from the tachograph for refueling and used like a conventional fuel card. This procedure has been confirmed as permissible by the Federal Office for Goods Transport.

The cumbersome handling of different fuel cards is thus completely eliminated. In the rare event that a card is lost, the driver card is automatically blocked at the tankpool24 fuel terminals, preventing refueling. In addition, a refueling limit can be set and all refueling transactions can be documented and checked for plausibility, enabling precise monitoring and profitability checks.

    Step 1:
    Insert the official driver card (with the chip facing upwards) into the card reader.
    Step 2:
    Data transfer and refueling preparation (LED flashes).
    Step 3:
    Remove the driver card from the card reader.
    Step 4:
    Enter the 4-digit PIN and confirm with ‘Enter’.
    Step 5:
    Refuel at the selected petrol pump.

    Step 1:
    Hold your tankpool24 vehicle card close to the reader of the petrol terminal.

    This is followed by the release request, after which you will receive a message that the fuel card has been recognized.
    Step 3:

    Enter your mileage (optional).
    Step 5:

    What is LNG?

    LNG stands for Liquefied Natural Gas - a liquefied natural gas that is produced by cooling it down to around minus 160 °C. The main advantage: the volume of liquefied natural gas is around 600 times less than that of gaseous natural gas, making it ideal for use as a fuel.

    Liquefied natural gas can be transported in insulated tanks and is particularly suitable for heavy goods transport. LNG vehicles offer the same performance as diesel-powered vehicles but with lower operating costs and emissions.

In the background of each refueling process, our data recording system documents the exact consumption at each location and checks the requested fuel quantities for plausibility.
